I’m Danielle, the face (and hands) behind Woven Whimsy.
I’ve always been a creative person – I can remember savouring my new coloured pencil crayons as a child, and attempting fabric painting as a teen. As I’ve got older, I’ve realised that I need to be creative as a form of “self care” (some people like bubble baths, I like to make stuff!).
I live with my husband and two children in beautiful Cape Town. I’m a molecular geneticist by day, but in my (limited) spare time I love to make things with wool and thread.
